Description

WHO IS IT FOR?

If you plan to dive into more demanding places or projects, (i.e deeper, colder, more complicated divers, strong currents, etc) using helium maintains high mental focus and reduces the gas narcosis, which will make you and your team safer and more comfortable. It is a great way to train you for deeper dive by introducing and practicing ascent protocols.

  • Be physically and mentally fit.
  • Be a non-smoker.
  • Be able to swim.

  • Have passed the GUE Recreational Diver 1 course or a GUE Fundamentals course at the “recreational” level.
  • Have completed at least 25 non-training dives.

Diving Expenses:

The below prices are approximate estimates and will be paid directly to the corresponding operators:

  • Course Registration on GUE’s website: 45 USD
  • Nitrox fees: 30 CAD per tank
  • Boat dives: TBC
  • Triox 30/30 Fees: TBC
  • Hotel fees: When applicable where travel is required – shared among all students.

Additional Expenses to be aware of:

  • Helium gas fills are not included and must be paid separately (to be confirmed before the class).
