Learn how to secure your gear: Tips and Advice

Taking care of your scuba diving gear is important both underwater and during transport. Streamlining your equipment can help prevent damage and prolong its lifespan. Here are some tips for securing your scuba gear:

  • Roll your longhose in a circular format and attach the bolt snap to the chest D-ring.
  • Pass the waist belt into the loop you created, into the waist buckle, and tighten it.
  • Pass the crotch strap into the long hose loop, and finally thread the regulator’s bungee into the crotch strap’s loop and tuck it to the tank valve.

Of course, you may have your own way of securing your gear, but the most important thing is to keep it off the ground and in place.
